What do you like best about working at Whites Financial Management?

I have been with Whites Financial Management for nearly two years now and recently rejoined after 8 months off on maternity leave.  There are always lots of different things to do each day, keeping us nice and busy. I have already learnt so much in such a short space of time, thanks to the extensive knowledge Simon has of the industry and training provided by the office manager, Caroline.

Will you be going on holiday this year?

I have been away a few times this year to Tenerife & Center Parcs.  Next year our plan is to arrange a family holiday somewhere hot!  We really enjoy some quality family time away. 

Favourite film?

My favourite film(s) are Carlito’s Way & Pretty in Pink – both very conflicting genres but I do really enjoy them both. For lots of different reasons!

First record bought?

Steps – Don’t stop movin’. Don’t ask!

Last music downloaded?

Songbird – Eva Cassidy. I don’t have anything to follow this up……

First job?

My first ever job was as a weekend hairdressing assistant. I truly believed at the time that this was my calling in life – it was in fact not my calling and I can’t say I enjoyed it all that much, I’m afraid.

A great night out is?

Going to a nice restaurant that my boyfriend and I haven’t yet tried then an at home ‘movie night’ eating lots of unhealthy snacks!!

Unfulfilled ambition?

Nothing so far that I can think of.

Favourite place abroad?

Bali. I travelled around South Eats Asia for 6 months and Bali was by far the most beautiful, chilled and wonderful place. It was all beautiful really but Bali has more of an edge.

Favourite place in the UK?

Loch Tay near Aberfeldy. My boyfriend and I have visited a couple of times and it’s just so pretty with lots to do.  

Biggest extravagance?

My house – I’ve been able to decorate/transform it just as I wanted to. We love it!

Favourite restaurant?

The Kitchin. Being a vegetarian, I find a lot of restaurant menus are all very similar The Kitchin was something else, the food and service was exquisite. It’s a shame we can’t attend more often due to how busy they are and having to book several weeks in advance!

Biggest regret?

None. Yet.

First place visited abroad?

A family holiday to Lanzarote. I was young but I remember having the best time with my new found friends and swimming in the waterparks.

Favourite actor?

Al Pacino. No one else compares.

Favourite TV show?

Impractical Jokers. This may be an unpopular opinion for many, but I find them all totally hilarious. You should give it a try!
